An interview with Carlos Vidal, SUS president, as an introduction to what the Student Union Society does
To the first years: what you need to know about UFV

University is what you make it. I know this sounds trite, but it couldn’t be more true.
Martin Kelly talks Student Life at UFV

Martin Kelly discusses what Student Life’s all about, what his role is, and what he’d like to see more of on campus
What the heck are Ancillary fees?

So you have registered for classes, attended orientation and now you have paid for your first semester of your University education. What do you mean tuition is only one of many fees attached to your receipt? Don’t panic, we have set up a crash course in reading your tuition receipt so that there are no questions about where your dollars and cents are going.
You probably won’t ever go to space

September is here again, and it is as bittersweet as it was in elementary school.
O where art thou, O leaders?

Student Life is seeking volunteers to represent UFV and help welcome new students in this year’s Orientation event in Abbotsford and Chilliwack. Each year around 100 student volunteers are needed to lead campus tours and introduce new students to UFV; however, volunteers for this coming August have been scarce. Only around 20 students have so far applied to become an “O leader.”
Orientation Leader recruitment begins

Student Life is currently looking for UFV students to volunteer to be Orientation leaders this September. O-leaders, after being trained, help new students find their way around campus. The role may be best suited to students with an interest in volunteer opportunities on campus, as well as those who enjoy leading activities. It may also suit those interested in a free shirt.
