Executive Editors
The Executive Editor (EE) is the Executive Director and chief editor of The Cascade. They provide leadership and encouragement to the staff and contractors of The Cascade. The EE is ultimately responsible for all published material and establishing the editorial tone and direction of The Cascade newspaper. The Business Manager is in charge of The Cascade's finances and helps run the office. They write cheques for paid staff, maintain financial records, and ensure the budget is being adhered to. The Business Manager also serves as an Advertising Representative and Distributor on behalf of The Cascade.
Sectional Editors
The News Editor is responsible for leading the operations of the News section, which includes ensuring that staff and volunteers have the resources and abilities to produce good news copy. The News Editor presents issues relevant to students, including but not limited to the Student Union Society, campus news, and community coverage. The Junior News Editor assists in overseeing news content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and engagement across all news articles. This role includes writing, editing, and collaborating with reporters, as well as supporting the Executive editors in maintaining journalistic standards and meeting publication deadlines. The Features Editor is responsible for leading the operations of the features section, which includes ensuring staff and volunteers have the resources and abilities to produce good copy and research. The Features Editor manages and coordinates the researcher in any work or surveys The Sports Editor of The Cascade is responsible for leading the operations of the Sports section and online video content; this includes assigning, collecting, and editing its content. It also involves supervising the sports writers and ensuring that they have the resources and abilities needed to produce strong content. The Varsity Writer covers UFV's sports events, providing insightful coverage and analysis of varsity games, teams, and athletic events. This role involves attending games, conducting interviews, and writing articles that engage the university community and highlight the achievements of UFV’s athletes.

Production
The Production Manager is responsible for producing The Cascade and editing final proofs before sending them off to the printer. The Production Manager works with the Editor-in-Chief to make layout decisions, coordinate production staff, and oversee the layout, design, and artistic aspects of the paper including cover and feature design. The Features and Cover Designer is responsible for providing regularly illustrated and graphic content for featured articles such as editorial cartoons, comics, and promotional materials as directed by the Production Manager.

The Student Engagement Coordinator is responsible for planning, promoting, and attending student engagement events in collaboration with the Executive Editor, Business Manager, and Managing Editor. The purpose of this role is to increase The Cascade’s reach and awareness within UFV’s student body – to promote readership, contributions, and job opportunities amongst students The Newspaper Distributor at The Cascade is responsible for efficiently delivering and restocking print editions across campus and key locations. This role involves managing distribution routes, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining the visibility of print publications to maximize readership and engagement.
