On getting involved with events on campus

“Of course, I would have the responsibility to the students, but as well I spent the summer as the CIVL work-study, which was primarily events-based, and I made sure that I was these events and doing what I was supposed to do.”

“I’d like to be part of the events committee and the advocacy committee.”

“I think I’ll have no problem meeting the five hours per week, and no problems going over that, either. When you really care about something, you always find the time.”

On her goals as rep at large

“I think I can bring a lot to helping to get students more involved in various things, be it CIVL Radio, or The Cascade, or informing them about clubs and associations. Or informing them about the various resources that are available to them, like the writing centre, or counselling, or career counselling. There’s so much stuff going on at UFV, and there isn’t very much involvement, and I think that’s something we really need to work on changing.”

On dessert

“Yesterday my mom and I ate a whole pumpkin pie. That’s it. That’s the one.”
