I’ve become one of them. They’re flooding the market and clearing out shelves; they’re chopping, dicing, seasoning, creating — they are air fryers. That’s right: I have an air fryer, and I know how to use it. These crispy, sesame broccoli and cauliflower bites will have your taste buds jumping for joy, and your body will thank you too. These bad boys only have four ingredients and take about 15 minutes to make. These are a perfect healthy replacement for popcorn on movie nights, and they work great as a side dish!
Cook Time: 15 minutes. Serves: 2
Ingredients:
A head of broccoli
1/2 head of cauliflower
1/2 tsp of sesame oil or to your discretion
Sprinkle of soy sauce or to your discretion
Method:
1)Chop your veggies into bite-sized pieces and toss them in the sesame oil and soy sauce. (Don’t use too much sauce or your bites won’t crisp up!)
2)Throw those bad boys into the air fryer basket and set to 180 F for softer bites or 200 F for crunchy ones.
3)For softer ones: cook at 180 F for 10 minutes, shaking every 4 minutes, then crisp them up at 200 F for 5 minutes. For crunchy bites: cook at 200 F for about 7 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket every 3 to 4 minutes.
4)Serve and enjoy!
