On why he chose to run for this position

“Truthfully … I’m quite a bit of a pessimist, so the fact that I’m willing to run for this position says that [I feel I can] accomplish some things. I’m not certain what they are as of yet, at least not entirely, but I came out and I’ll give it a shot.”

On advocacy

“As a member of the UFV Pride community … I have a lot of experience with public speaking on tolerance and other implied issues so… “

On keeping SUS fiscally responsible

“Despite the fact that we’re a democracy, I like to think that at least in some ways we are a meritocracy – in which case I’m good at finding certain cuts most people have overlooked or at least considered impossible.

Concluding remarks

“I’m an English major and a Philosophy minor running for an advocacy representative position, and I think that speaks for itself why I should be voted into this position.”

On dessert

“I’d say bannock, but everyone loves bannock. That stuff’s delicious.”
