On getting involved with events on campus

“I volunteer most of my free time anyways, helping out SUS with events … at the Weeks of Welcome, I shucked corn for three hours, just because I was there to help. I help a lot with AfterMath … I pretty much volunteer a lot of time anyways, so I’d probably do more than I’m supposed to do with events, and making sure I’m there.”

“If I do something, you’ll have no problem about me doing the job properly; it’s the fact that when I do something, I do it to 100 per cent of my capabilities. There’s no half-assing it.”

On standing up for his opinions

“I’m a friend with multiple members on the board, but I have my own opinions and I will make them known. I’m not just going to agree with everything. If I don’t like what something is, I won’t agree to it.”

“The fee increase was shot down pretty quickly … I’m not saying I totally support it, but I’m saying that it could have been better looked at before being shot down immediately.”

On dessert

“I’m a big fan of cake. My favourite’s probably cheesecake.”
