The UFV women’s and men’s soccer team were both in action last week.

Led by goalkeeper Chantelle Biagioni, the women’s side added two more to their win total, beating the University of Winnipeg Wesman and University of Manitoba Bison by a combined 5-0 count. Forward Carly Neeson totaled two goals in the two matches.

The men were able to hold on for two draws against tough opponents University of Alberta Golden Bears and University of Saskatchewan Huskies, 1-1 and 2-2 respectively.

The women play next at home at Exhibition Park in Chilliwack October 12 against the University of Victoria, and the men will lace up on home pitch, and face the same institution as opponents this Friday.
