On Thursday, January 16, the Abbotsford Arts Council presented the gallery opening of their latest exhibit, Painted Light, at the Kariton Art Gallery. The show features artists such as Janelle Fitz, Katherine Binns, Andrew Hibbs, and Dana Mooney. All of the artists are local to the Fraser Valley, with Fitz being a UFV bachelor of fine arts alumnus. The themes within the show range from music to romance, all tied together through their use of light in some form or another. This exhibition will be on display at the Kariton until February 9.
