On her qualifications for this position

“I’m campaigning for the position of Chilliwack representative for a few reasons, one of them being that I live in Chilliwack and attending Chilliwack campuses and commuting to Abbotsford for five years now.”

On her goals as Chilliwack rep

“There’s not nearly the events available for students in Chilliwack … as there are in Abbotsford. I’m not wanting to move the ones from Abbotsford, I’m just trying to increase the accessibility of students in Chilliwack to events.”

“Another one of the things I would want to do is speed up negotiations for a bus to the Trades and Technology Centre, specifically … there is currently no city bus that goes to the Trades and Technology Centre, and they also pay the $40 U-Pass fee, so I think that’s kind of unfair.”

Concluding remarks

“I think people should vote for me because I’m passionate about the city of Chilliwack; I’m very excited for all the growth that it’s experiencing, especially for the coming growth of the university, and I want to be a part of establishing some of the new community on the new campus.”

On dessert

“I’m lactose intolerant, so I can’t have it without getting really really sick, but I love cookie dough ice cream.”
