Shower thoughts

I step inside and turn the knob to the left.

Why do people want to run away from their ages? Honestly, how does a number even begin to quantify a person’s life? I can go “uh, I’m 24” but it doesn’t mean anything on its own, it’s not saying anything about my lived experiences, it’s not measuring anything. Yeah, I’m not going to bend to that, screw running away from age.

Why are some topics more popular than others? Surely for something to be popular it’s gotta inspire passion in a lot of people. No? Are passions randomly embedded into us, and do they determine how popular something is by summing how many people are passionate about one topic? I wonder what’s the science behind it, how interests and passions paint a picture of popularity and that sort of thing. Yuh.

The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced nothing is real. I mean, we experience facts and truth through human eyes but that’s the only way we can experience them, it’s not the only universal way to experience everything, though.

Huh.

I turn the knob to the right and step out.
