I want to watch this play again. The set is sparse, the costumes simple, the physical use of the stage subtle but well plotted, and the acting splendid. While the plot was reliant almost solely on dialogue, this was compelling and emotionally engaging from beginning to end. One of the reasons the dialogue worked so successfully with little movement around the stage was the shifting of intensity: before the thought of time passing could occur to me, there would be a rise of emotion, gripping me again. This tale of two murders brought tears to some in the audience, including me. When it was over, everyone stood up instantly for a standing ovation. I definitely recommend seeing it.
