Double denim and stripes drew attention to Camille’s outfit in the sea of sweatshirts at the New Student Orientation on August 28 outside the cafeteria. The blend of style and comfort was perfect for the warm autumn day. Here’s what she had to say about her style.

Describe your personal style.

It changes a lot. It really depends on where I’m going. I’ll dress differently for music and for sports, of course. I’d call my normal attire faux-formal. I do care about what I look like, but I really like comfortable clothes, too. My church dresses up nicely, and it feels good to get in sweatpants when I get home.

What is your favourite place to shop in the Valley?

I like H&M, but I almost always buy pants at American Eagle. I get a lot of stuff from Garage, too. My sister was a contestant for the Garage Model Search about six years ago, and she got a really big gift card from being a part of that. She’s okay with me going there and getting stuff with her gift card sometimes.

That’s pretty awesome. I like your shoes and jacket, where’d you get those?

I got my shoes from Amazon. Everything else is from Garage today. It is nice to shop online, but it can be really iffy with pants, and going to the store is a fun thing to do, as well.
